TheFSM in a short

The European Research Project ‘The Food Safety Market: An SME-powered industrial data platform to boost the competitiveness of European food certification’ (Horizon 2020) aims to digitize the process of control and certification of products in the Agri-Food Sector, through its creation and operation digital data platform “TheFSM”: The Food Safety Market.

This platform is expected to make use of critical production data, which will be recorded by every food business, with the aim of being able to manage “daily” and easily the data of its daily operation, thus on the other hand to be able to respond effectively and documented to the needs of the certification process. At the same time, the safe and controlled exchange of critical information related to the certification of the safety of their products will be achieved, among those involved in the food supply chain.

The online platform “TheFSM” is expected to become a user-friendly tool for the companies involved in the food chain, but also reliable for the processed information it will provide to food safety control and certification bodies.

Project’s participation in this TradeFair was strategically planned, as it is a meeting point  in Southeast Europe for hundreds of Greek and international exhibitors and a real pole of attraction for thousands of trade visitors from Greece and global target markets.
